Matt Burton

Co-Founder

Matt Burton is a certified recovery coach with over two decades of experience, working with thousands of men who are survivors of trauma, sexual addiction, intimacy avoidance, and relational trauma, among others. 

Matt is both a business leader and certified recovery coach who, in addition to personal experience, has also deepened his understanding of addiction and trauma through training and certifications. Read more…

Laura Burton

Co-Founder

Laura Burton’s personal experience and journey as a partner through the impacts of pornography addiction, infidelity, and intimacy avoidance were instrumental to her trajectory as a recovery coach.

She has a vibrant understanding of how addictions can negatively impact people and works to help partners of sex addicts, unfaithful partners, and intimacy avoidants restore the lost, broken and damaged trust. Read more…

Kevin Rose

Course Development

As a high school Math Teacher with 11 years of experience, Kevin provides valuable insight for the Becoming Well course curriculum design. His skills aid in the structure and design features for the Recovery and Healing courses. He ensures that the course curriculum maintains an interactive, accountable, and organized interface, thus helping clients get the most value from their experience with coaches.

Josh Parker

Course Development

Josh Parker’s goal is to “help people and solve problems.” He has served as ELA Instructional Coach, Language Arts Department Chair, Secondary Language Arts teacher, professor and compliance specialist. 

He has been conferred with Lowell Milken Unsung Hero (2017), N.E.A. Global Fellow (2013) and Maryland Teacher of the Year (2012). 

A senior consultant with Education First, Josh lives with his wife of over a decade, Tiffany and their two children, Laila and Joshua.

Christine Guerrera

Content Review

Christine Guerrera is a former public school educator, licensed marriage and family therapist, EMDR practitioner, certified gestalt therapist, ordained interfaith minister, reiki practitioner, certified yoga teacher and humble student.  

With over 30 years experience, her goal is to help her clients psycho-spiritually embrace and explore their divine and human natures. She lives in CT with her two teenage boys, loves to learn and be in nature.

Sam Louie

Content Review

Sam Louie is an Asian-American psychotherapist, author, and speaker based in Seattle focusing on multicultural issues, emotional wellness and addictions. Sam often uses spoken word poetry to tell engaging and informative stories.

Through poetry, story-telling, and visual imagery, Sam’s presentations touch on the themes of discrimination, identity, and other ethnic challenges facing Asian Americans.

Courtland Mcpherson

Content Review

Courtland McPherson is an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. He holds multiple designations as a practicing supervisor for clinical work.

He has experience in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and person-centered treatment. He is currently working on his doctoral degree in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Institute of Clinical Social Work Chicago, Illinois.

Chip Morgan

Fidelity Testing  Program Advisor

Chip Morgan is an internationally recognized polygraph instructor, law enforcement trainer, guest lecturer and keynote speaker. He is past Chairman, Board and President of the National Polygraph Association and serves as a quality control officer for that organization. 

A Lifetime Membership and Lifetime Achievement honoree by the National Polygraph Association, he is currently Director in the American Polygraph Association, 2021-2025.

Martha Lugo

Fidelity Testing  Program Advisor

Martha Lugo is bilingual fluent (Spanish/English), a native speaker/culturally and LGBTQ+ competent polygraph examiner. She is a licensed Private Investigator and the owner of Bilingual Polygraph & Investigations of Colorado. 

A former probation officer and psychotherapist, she has over 30 years of experience and is currently pursuing a Ph.D and a second master’s degree in forensic psychology.

Jared Rockwood

Fidelity Testing  Program Advisor

Jared Rockwood, LCSW, has over 18 years of experience in therapy. He has helped troubled teens and adolescents engaged in abusive and high-risk sexual behaviors. 

He became interested in polygraphs because of how the consistent evidence that getting through the initial honesty and disclosure process, along with supportive maintenance with polygraph optimized the therapeutic process.
