Sexual Addiction, infidelity and intimacy avoidance can be isolating. Whether it is recovery for infidelity through physical or emotional affairs, infidelity through pornography or other forms of sexual acting out, or the pain created through intimacy avoidance, couples entering recovery often feel like they are going through it alone. Maximize your intensive experience by joining with other couples to work through issues common to infidelity and intimacy avoidance. A Group Intensive Weekend can provide you with a safe environment to voice your pain, concerns, and learn techniques for healing. Often, couples working through infidelity feel alone, judged, and hopeless. Intensives in a group format provide hope that you are not alone. You will hear the stories and struggles of others. This will allow you to gain a deeper understanding of what you and your partner are feeling during this crisis. You will not only see things through your relationship’s historical lens, but through the eyes of others. This can help you gain much-needed perspective that will move you forward in recovery.
Group Intensive Weekends offer daily group meetings, instruction by experts, and individual sessions to help ensure that your experience is tailor made for you. Couples leave feeling validated, understood, and hopeful— even if they were initially nervous about sharing their experience with others. Group Intensive Weekends will allow you to make connections with other people who understand what you are going through. This makes it possible for you to receive ongoing support through the relationships formed over the weekend. Couples will leave the Intensive with three distinct recovery plans: one for the wounding partner, one for the wounded partner, and one for the relationship.
